Q1. Which camp is right for me?

We always recomend signing up for the age group your camper will be playing in the fall. For example; if they are a peewee aging into bantams for the upcoming season, then you would register for a bantam camp for that summer. Q2. When is Check in?

Campers should arrive on Sunday anytime between 12:00pm and 3:00pm. You'll be greeted in the parking lot by a Heartland Hockey Camp staff member.

Q3. When is Check Out?

Check out is Friday afternoon immediately following your final scrimmage.

Q4. How can I set up private lessons?

Private Lessons are hour-long, one-on-one sessions with one of our expert coaches. You can sign up for lessons prior to your camp start. Links to lessons will be sent via email.

Q6. Are snacks available during the day?

Snacks are available for purchase at our snack bar located in the mezzanine of the ice rink. You can get a bank card at check in that you can load money onto for campers to use during the week. The remaining balance will be returned at check out from the front office. Please note that three meals will be provided to campers each day.

Q7. Can Parents skate?

Yes, we offer Parent/Child camps. Parents will be able to join their childs group for all camp activites including on ice training. When you enroll your child for camp, you will have additional options for parents.

Q8. Do we need linens?

Yes, all campers must bring their own linens. We have twin sized mattresses in all dorms.

Q9. Do you have a medical staff

Yes, we have a fantastic, full time, medical staff. All illnesses and injuries will be attended by our medical staff. In those situations that require additional medical assistance, the campers will be taken to the Cuyuna Medical Center, conveniently located just 6 miles north of Heartland Hockey Camp.

Q10. Can my camper stay a day early (Saturday night) or stay a day late (Friday night)?

If it is more cost efficient and convenient for you, we will allow campers to come in a day early or stay over an extra day for a cost of $100.00. This fee will include lodging either Friday or Saturday night and meals will be provided. Extensive ice and recreational opportunities will be available.

Q11. Travel? Can my child be picked up from the airport?

Heartland Hockey Camp offers Airport shuttle service for the Brainerd Regional Airport only. Please note all unaccompanied minors must fly into the Brainerd Regional Airport to be picked up by Heartland staff members.

Q12. What if I have to cancel?

No refunds of any kind will be given after April 1st for any reason, including late arrival, early departure, or if we are forced to cancel or reschedule your camp. Campers who must cancel before April 1st will receive a full refund if the cancellation occurs within 10 days of the original purchase date. After the initial 10 days, a 75% refund will be given until April 15th. After April 15th, no refunds of any kind will be given. We will accept applications until the camps are full. Final balance due date, for early registrants is April 15. Campers may apply to any open camps anytime after April 15 until each particular camp is full.

Q13. What's the cell phone policy?

Cell Phone Policy

Campers will not be allowed to have phones, tablets, smart watches, etc. If there is a certain circumstacne which required you to have a phone (Gllucose monitor) we will allow a phone.
