Carrying on the Charitable Legacy of the Jensen Family

For more than four decades, Heartland Hockey Camps has been built on the belief that hockey has the power to change lives. Through the vision and generosity of Steve and Sandy Jensen, thousands of young athletes have experienced growth, friendship, confidence, and unforgettable memories at Heartland.

Today, as Heartland enters a new chapter with 200x85 and Premier Ice Prospects, we remain committed to carrying forward the charitable spirit and community-first values that have always defined Heartland.

We are proud to introduce the Heartland Helping Hand Campership Program.

Creating Opportunities for More Families

We understand that many families face financial challenges that can make participation in youth sports difficult. Our goal is simple: to help remove financial barriers and create opportunities for deserving players to experience everything Heartland Hockey Camps has to offer.

Through the Heartland Helping Hand Campership Program, 200x85 and PIP will provide both full and partial camperships to families for whom cost may otherwise prevent participation in a Heartland summer residential camp.

Every player deserves the opportunity to develop their skills, build lifelong friendships, and create memories that last far beyond the rink. This program is designed to help make those opportunities possible.

2026 Campership Applications Are Now Open

Applications for the 2026 Heartland Helping Hand Campership Program are officially live.

Before submitting an application, we encourage families to review the available camp dates, age classifications, and program descriptions to identify the session that best fits their player.

Following submission of the application, families will be contacted as campership opportunities become available. Awards will be based on available funding, demonstrated need, and overall program capacity.

Who Should Apply?

The Heartland Helping Hand Campership Program is open to:

  • Families seeking financial assistance for a player to attend a Heartland Hockey Camp.

  • Players who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate due to financial circumstances.

  • Educators, counselors, coaches, community leaders, or other trusted adults who would like to recommend a deserving player for consideration.

We recognize that every family's situation is unique and encourage applicants to share their circumstances openly and honestly.
